Kenzi received her BS in Communication from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2016 before getting married and moving to Louisville in January of 2017. Since then, Kenzi has worked as a reading interventionist, teaching reading, writing and comprehension skills to kids with dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, and language based learning differences
Kenzi and her husband Bryce have two fur babies: a blind pug named Bentley, and a sassy kitten named Boo. Kenzi enjoys being active through biking, yoga, and dance and is passionate about traveling and meeting people from different cultures. In her free time, you can find her “introverting” while reading a psychological thriller or two.
Kenzi has always had a passion for working with people and can now do that through pursuing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Campbellsville University. Using a client-centered, strength-based approach, she believes that each client has the capacity and strength for inner healing no matter their story or past. Her clinical interests are working with those with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and is certified in Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR). Kenzi also uses Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her work with clients.
